Wherever you are in the journey,
there’s a place for you here.

Owner-training a service dog is one of the most meaningful things you can take on, and one of the most isolating. I built this community and coaching program for every stage of that road.

🐾

Just getting started

You have a dog and a dream, but no clear roadmap. You’re not sure where to begin, what to train first, or whether your dog is even the right fit. I’ll help you build a solid foundation from day one.

🧩

Stuck in the middle

You’ve made progress, but training has stalled. Your dog isn’t picking up a task, behavior has regressed, or you’ve simply hit a wall you can’t see your way through. I’ve been there, and I know the way forward.

🌱

Starting over after a setback

Maybe your dog was injured, attacked, or wasn’t able to continue. Maybe you’re grieving a retirement and facing the daunting task of beginning again. I understand that grief, and I’ll walk that road with you.

I don’t just teach training.
I understand the life.

01

I’ve lived it

I’ve been a service dog handler since 2010, through two retired SDs and now a third dog in training. I know what it feels like to depend on your dog every single day, and what it costs when something goes wrong.

02

Nearly two decades of training

I’ve been training service dogs since 2007 across a broad spectrum of disability types and task needs. I’ve worked through every stage of this journey: the breakthroughs, the setbacks, and everything in between.

03

I know your rights

My background in disability advocacy and ADA law means you’ll never be left guessing about your access rights. From public accommodations to housing to air travel, I’ll make sure you’re informed and prepared.

04

Broad spectrum support

I work with handlers across a wide range of disabilities: mobility, psychiatric, medical alert, autism support, and more. Whatever your needs, I can build a program that fits your life and your dog.

One coach. The complete picture.

Most service dog coaches come from one world, either organization training or personal experience as a handler. I come from both. That combination is rare, and it’s exactly what owner-trainers need.
